The Bureau of Ambulatory Redundancy exists to document movement that goes somewhere only in the sense that it keeps happening. We do not study destinations, because none has ever been declared. Every session is logged with full rigor and precisely zero purpose.
Pressing the button initiates a single figure walking at a fixed pace between two fixed points, turning at each one without hesitation or comment. There is no acceleration, no route variation, and no version of this that ends anywhere other than where it started.
The Pacing Performance Metric increases continuously for as long as pacing continues. It has never been tied to a target, a benchmark, or a definition of success, and the Bureau has no plans to introduce one. It is simply a number that gets larger.
The Bureau does not accept requests to redirect, accelerate, or conclude an active pacing session. There is nothing to appeal, since no destination was ever promised in the first place. It is simply what is happening now.
